With unique color and texture,the rubber wood is widely used in furniture decoration.However,it has some defects such as flammability,hygroscopicity and low dimensional stability.It is also easy to decay and be eaten by moth.Due to the single function of the existing wood modifiers,the study of multi-functional modifiers has become a new approach.In this thesis,the 2-hexyl/octylamino-4-?2-carboxy-propylamino?-6-?1,2,4-triazol-3-thio?-1,3,5-s-triazine?THB/TOB?was synthesized by using cyanuric chloride,n-hexyla-mine,n-octylamine,2-aminoethanesulfonic acid and 3-mercapto-1,2,4-triazole as raw materials through nucleophilic substitution reaction.The compound was used to modify the rubber wood by vacuum pressure impregnation.This thesis studied the hydrophobicity,dimensional stability,bacteriostasis,leaching resistance and flame resistance of modified rubber wood.The main conclusions are as follows:1.The static contact angle of rubber wood modified by THB and TOB increased to64.7°and 120.8°,respectively.The rubber wood modified by TOB met the hydrophobic standard.Both modifiers can improve the dimensional stability of rubber wood.The volume shrinkage rate and the swelling ratio of the modified rubber wood were significantly reduced.2.The bacteriostatic performance of rubber wood modified with THB and TOB were significantly improved.The antibacterial size of Escherichia coli was 41.7 mm and 39.7 mm,respectively;and the antibacterial size of Staphylococcus aureus was 44.3 mm and 41.5 mm.In addition,the loss rate of the two modified rubber woods was only 3.12%and 2.97%,and the resistance performance was greatly improved.3.The limiting oxygen index of the rubber wood modified by THB was 32.5%,reaching the B1 grade and the rubber wood modified by TOB was 28.2%.The cone calorimeter test results showed that the appearance time of peak of HRR was prolonged,and the values decreased.The second peak of heat release rate decreased by 11.7%and12.2%,respectively.The total smoke production decreased and reached 2.20 m2/m2,13.62m2/m2.The result showed that the rubber wood modified by THB had better smoke suppression effect.
