Light hydrocarbon mixture gas is a new type of city gas.The theoretical simulation study of combustion mechanism and combustion flame is helpful to further develop and popularize this new energy gas.However,at present,the research on light hydrocarbon mixture gas is not deep,only in the aspect of physical property measurement in industrial test.For light hydrocarbon mixed gas,pentane,the main component of light hydrocarbon,is used as the blending raw material.By means of Chemkin simulation calculation software,DRGEP method and sensitivity analysis method,the combustion mechanism of light hydrocarbon mixture gas was analyzed and simplified according to the mixture type and proportion of the mixture gas,and the simplified mechanism containing 80 substances and 387elemental reactions was obtained as the physical model for theoretical research.On this basis,the formation of NO at different nitrogen hydrocarbon ratios?1:3,1:2,1:1,2:1,3:1?was studied,and the NO generated in this process was determined to be thermodynamic NO.By comparing the simulation results under different proportions,it is found that under the premise of maintaining the combustion temperature,the proportion of N2 increases to a certain extent,but the emission of NO decreases.The simplified combustion mechanism of C5H12 was coupled into Fluent software,and the combustion of light hydrocarbon mixture gas was simulated by changing the mixture type?air,N2?and the proportion of mixture gas?1:1,1:2,1:3?under the combustion condition of specific cyclone burner boiler with rated heat load.Comparing the temperature field and product concentration distribution field of combustion under different proportions,it is found that under the same thermal load,the gas can form stable combustion in the furnace.The combustion condition in furnace is the result of gas velocity and composition.Comprehensive analysis shows that when the mixing ratio is 1:3,the combustion of mixed gas in this burner is more stable and close to the combustion characteristics of natural gas.Based on the comprehensive use of combustion mechanism and means of combustion simulation,it is considered that light hydrocarbon mixture gas is a kind of urban gas that can be popularized.When the mixture ratio of light hydrocarbon mixture gas is 1:3,its combustion is stable,which is similar to that of natural gas.The further research and popularization of light hydrocarbon mixture gas provide theoretical data reference.
