With the rapid development of China's oil and gas pipeline engineering,the mileage of pipeline construction is gradually expanding.Most pipelines are laid underground and are corroded by transporting materials,soil,groundwater and stray currents.Corrosion mechanism leads to thinning of the pipe wall and even leakage of perforations,which makes the corrosion problem of the gathering pipeline and the long-distance pipeline increasingly serious.This phenomenon,which often occurs in long-distance pipelines,will bring about corresponding capacity problems,environmental protection and resource issues.The cathodic protection method is an important technique for preventing or delaying electrochemical corrosion of long-distance pipelines in an electrolyte environment such as underground.At present,the harm caused by corrosion can be alleviated or avoided by using a cathodic protection device with an impressed current method.Combined with switching power supply,communication principle,virtual instrument and other technologies,this paper researches,designs and develops a long-distance pipeline cathodic protection device based on STM32 single-chip microcomputer.The cathodic protection device can accurately collect the output voltage,the output current,the reference potential of the long-distance pipeline,the temperature and other data,and transmit the data to the host computer designed by the LabVIEW platform through the RS-485 bus,and can be accurately adjusted in real time by the host computer.The reference potential greatly reduces the corrosion rate of long-distance pipelines.The designed cathodic protection device tends to be compact,intelligent,and suitable for remote centralized control.Taking the L245 NS pipeline test piece as the protection object in the experiment,the experimental platform was built to test the cathodic protection device.The experimental results show that the cathodic protection device studied in this paper is reasonable in structure,quick in response and stable in operation,and is suitable for the impressed current cathodic protection project of long-distance pipelines.
