Analysis On The Effect Of Emission Reduction Emission Trading In China

In recent years,China's environmental pollution problems have become increasingly serious,and various pollution control measures have been put on the agenda.As an important means of environmental regulation,emissions trading has a good performance in pollution control,and has been implemented in many countries at home and abroad.Since 2007,the Ministry of Environmental Protection of China has expanded pilot pilots of emissions trading activities in 11 provinces and cities in China,and established emission trading mechanisms in several provinces and cities,hoping to balance environmental protection and economic development.However,there are some problems in the implementation of the emission trading policy in China.Some scholars are controversial about its effectiveness.This paper selects the data of various provinces in China from 2002 to 2016,and then tests the emissions trading in China.The effect of implementation,that is,the emission reduction effect of emissions trading.Firstly,the thesis expounds the background and significance of the topic selection,analyzes the theoretical and practical significance of the topic selection,summarizes the research results of scholars at home and abroad,and explains in detail the mechanism of pollution emission reduction to promote pollution reduction.The system describes the development status of emissions trading in China,elaborates the pilot activity mechanism and development results of emissions trading,and summarizes the significance of implementing emissions trading.Then,descriptive statistical methods and econometric models are used to conduct in-depth research on the emission reduction effects of emissions trading.In the empirical model,this paper uses the double difference method to analyze the emission reduction impact of the emissions trading system.Finally,combined with the empirical conclusions drawn in the paper,and summarizing the practical experience of the implementation of emissions trading at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the gaps and causes of China's emissions trading,and puts forward policy recommendations for continuously improving the trading system of emissions trading.The empirical results show that emissions trading has achieved certain results in the implementation of China,and it has a negative relationship with pollutionemissions.The pilot provinces and municipalities have reduced the intensity of industrial sulfur dioxide emissions after the implementation of the emission trading policy.This shows that China's emissions trading has a certain emission reduction effect and needs to be continuously improved and continued.
