Water volume and quality of waterscape are closely related to the overall quality of landscape architecture.Under the status quo of drought-induced and pollution-induced water scarcity,how to conserve water quality in ecological ways to save costs and resources needs to be considered in landscape designing.The aquatic ecosystems in Beijing Olympic Forest Park Lake,Nanhaizi Country Park Phase I and Cuihu Wetland Park Phase Ⅱ are simulated with AQUATOX in this study.First,the effects of existing water purification measures and the status of aquatic ecosystems were simulated.Then adjustment programs of animal and plant arrangement,water depth and water supply are compared from the aspects of the ecosystem stability and the water purification effect of different adjustment programs,to explore the impact and effects of these factors on water quality in the park.Finally,the results are summarized and concluded.Integrated arranging different species and different lifestyles of plants,increasing the number of food chains and increasing the depth of water are more conducive to water purification and ecological system stability,and can reduce the ecological water demand,thus,saving water.
