A Study Of The Style Of Hanfu Culture In The Perspective Of Subculture

The Hanfu culture is a subculture phenomenon with the traditional Chinese costume Hanfu as the main carrier and the wearing of Hanfu as the representative communication and development approach.Based on the subculture research theory,this study uses the interview method as the main research method to study the style of Hanfu culture under the subculture pe,rspective.By studying the construction of Hanfu culture style,the meaning of style and the identity of style,this study presents the style of Hanfu cul ture comprehensively.The style of Hanfu culture can he summarized as ’wearing Hanfu’.The style is constructed by the collage of the Hanf’u symbol,which emphasizes the original meaning of the symbol by context conversion,and also constructed by the Hanfu wearing ideographic practice which presents a game of subjectivity.The meaning of Hanf-u style is included in the aesthetic,ethnic and cultural aspects.The symbolic meaning of Hanfu is’concluding the oriental aesthetic with the oriental way of thinking’at the aesthetic aspect,’representing the national identity under the international context’ at the national aspect,and ’inheriting the cultural tradition under the current context’ at the cultural aspect.The symbolic meaning of Hanfu also includes the individual expression and the incentive meaning of Hanfu weari ng prac t ice,and the resi.s tance of Hanfu wearing practice to mainstream ideology in daily situations.Members of the Hanfu culture group constructed their self—identity with the idealized self-image ’revivalist’ through the ’Spectacle/Performance’in the daily wear of Hanfu.Members of the Hanf’u culture group also construct a common group identity through the practice of wearing Hanfu in ceremonial occasions,and also construct a group identity of difference and relative superiority through the behavior of boundary division.The study concludes with a summary of the social values and deficiencies of Hanfu culture.The social value of Hanfu culture is embodied in the tentative practice of the young generation spontaneously inheriting the traditional culture of the Chinese nation.The social value of Hanfu culture is reflected in the fact that there is the tendency of overcorrecting as well as the one-sided trend in the specific development.
