With the rapid development of air transportation in the world, air traffic flow will increase 1.5 times by 2035.The saturation of airspace and airport capacity brings heavy load to air traffic control units, airports and airlines.Avoiding conflicts and collisions between aircraft is an important part of the airspace safety near the airport, and it has become a hot spot at present.Because the trail aircraft is affected by the wake turbulence of the leading aircraft, aircraft in the approaching and landing phase is a stage of frequent safety accidents,so keeping the safety separation between aircraft in the near ground phase is an effective approach to avoid conflicts and collisions.Based on the airport environment, this paper studies the collision risk model in the approaching and landing phase. The main work is as follows:(1)For the airspace near the airport, the horizontal collision risk model of aircraft in the terminal/approach control area near the airport was established with the GAS model and extended into a three-dimensional collision risk model, and the geometric method and probability calculus knowledge were used to calculate the collision risk probability of the same types and different types of aircraft approaching. Finally, the horizontal collision risk model in approaching phase was used to build the computing platform.(2)Based on the Reich model and combining the mathematical method of probability calculus, this paper establishes the proximity shell collision risk model in the lateral, longitudinal and vertical directions in the approaching and landing phase between aircraft.Taking Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport(ZUCK)as the simulation object, aircraft categories are divided into A380-800,heavy aircraft, medium aircraft and light aircraft.Combining with the influence of leading aircraft wake turbulence, navigation error, flight technical error, acceleration error, altimeter error and other factors.Based on the collision risk calculation of approaching and landing phase in the single runway and parallel runway,it is concluded that the collision risk under current conditions is in accordance with the target safety level(TLS),proposed by the International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO)and Civil Aviation Administration of China(CAAC).The flight safety separation could be reduced appropriately. In contrast, the collision risk model based on the GAS model has few parameters and is easy to understand, but it is difficult to model the vertical collision risk model. The collision risk model based on Reich model has many parameters, but it is more comprehensive and suitable for the calculation of collision risk.
