At present, the smell problem has seriously threatened our daily drinking water safety. Therefore,we obtained the activated carbon in the carbon filter of Miyun reservoir in Beijing, the lake water of 50 meters in Taihu Lake, the filtered biofilter in Shenzhen reservoir and the surface water in Zhuhai.,four different types of samples.Three high-efficiency degrading bacteria were obtained by enrichment screening, and the morphological judgment,16 S rRNA gene analysis and headspace solid phase microextraction-gas chromatography-mass spectrometry were used to identify and degrade the rate. The results showed that the three strains were respectively Stenotrophomonas maltophilia,Sphingomonas sp.,and Cupriavidus sp.,the removal rate of 300ng/L odorant was 75.8% in 5 days,86% and 90%.The main influencing factors for the degradation of 2-methylisodecyl under oligomeric conditions were discussed for the most degrading Cupriavidus sp..The results showed that the bacteria can be directly grown using a carbon source under alkaline and neutral pH with temperature range of 28 °C-37 °C,which allows it to be applied under a wider range of environmental conditions.
