The Study Of Ecological Marxism In Gorz

In the modern Western Marxist trend of thought,the ecological Marxism with the core research content is the relationship between man and nature,the relationship between ecological crisis and capitalist system and its root causes and specific solutions.As one of the representative figures of this trend of thought,Andrei Gauz,based on the reflection of modern Western capitalist society,pointed out that economic rationality and social system characterized by capital logic are the root causes of the ecological crisis in Western society.To this end,in order to deal with the ecological crisis,he tried to establish ecological rationality and proposed the solution of ecological Marxism.This paper will deeply analyze the ecological Marxism of Gorz in the three aspects of the ecological crisis of capitalist society,pathological analysis and eradication of prescriptions.It is pointed out that Gorz started with capitalist ownership and revealed the non-ecological nature of capitalist society and painted a blueprint for the socialist society.He put forward the following core ideas: In the near future,ecological rationality will occupy a dominant position in society."Enough is enough" is the fundamental value that modern social economic systems should pursue.People’s production and consumption concepts will change,and they will adopt a "soft technology" that is closer to people’s lives to build scattered companies,so that the relationship between man and nature is in a harmonious state.While discovering the homologous relationship between ecological crisis and capitalism,Gorz’s theory still has some omissions.Its heavy idealistic color and the simple view of Marxist economic foundation as science and technology have weakened Marxist theory.Its scientificity has reduced its persuasiveness;it denies the independence of the superstructure and its reverse impact on the economic base.Nevertheless,under the new era,its theory still has important guiding significance for the construction of China’s ecological civilization.It is of great practical value to provide countermeasures for the construction of ecological civilization in China at this stage.
