Equal-height spiral bevel gear is one of transmission gears which is extensively applied in mechanical industries.It plays an important role in mechanical transmission.But it is not easy to produce equal-height bevel gear.The produce technology of equal-height bevel gear is grasped in overseas,china does not have the of processing technology.So that the producing cost is higher in china.Equal-height spiral bevel gear milling cutter as a tool of producing equal-height spiral bevel gear,studying on welding residual stress and transformation of equal-height spiral bevel gear milling cutter is practical significance and effect.Equal-height spiral bevel gear milling cutter is one of accurate and complex cutters.There are two ways to producing equal-height spiral bevel gear milling cutter.One is holistic produce,the other is respective produce.It means that through welding technology the cutter body and outer ring are linked together,the technology of holistic produce is in preliminary.The quality of welding has directly effects on the lifetime of cutter and the precision of gear.So the studying of cutter welding aim to cut down the transformation of cutter groove,and improve the precision of gear.The article makes use of ANSYS to simulate welding process,through the change of welding residual stress and transformation in different time to explain the rationality of symmetry welding.The main contents of the research are as follows:Firstly before the studying of equal-height spiral bevel gear milling cutter head,the structure and manufacturing technology of equal-height spiral bevel gear milling cutter at home and abroad should be comprehensive understood.At the same time the development direction of cutter head should be analyzed in the future.On the basis of cutter parameter to create geometric model of cutter.Secondly applying to technology about the element of life and death and thermal structure coupling to simulate welding process of equal-height spiral bevel gear milling cutter head in software ANSYS.At the same time the physical properties of cutter materials are different in different temperatures which is considered.Through welding simulation,temperature field stress field at different direction and deformation field should be obtained,the reasons for the simulation results are also analyzed.By means of the analysis of three fields in different time,which improve the welding quality of cutter and accelerate the use of emulation technique in welding field.Thirdly by means of welding experiment of equal-height spiral bevel gear milling cutter head,designing experimental steps and schemes and judging the rationalization of experiment that should be make sure the best experimental welding parameters for cutter head.Applying these analytical parameters to weld the equal-height spiral bevel gear milling cutter head.Finally through detection of knife groove,assembling tool bar and gear machining prove that welding quality meets service requirements and the accuracy of simulated calculation.Through comparing the cutter transformation field to the measuring result of welding experiment,the correctness of figure simulation can be improved.The research in this paper has certain guiding significance for the follow-up study of cutter head processing.
