In order to solve serious problems of environmental damage and soil and water erosion in the medium and low-hilly areas of Central South Shandong Province,which was caused by the dumped slag generated from highway construction,realize the engineering resource utilization in process,this paper proposed slag utilization technology,thereby forming the specific substrate for plant growth,adapted to ecological restoration of highway slopes.We took the local green soil and the slag from targeted engineering highway slope as the research object,and conducted plant growth tests with 9 different substrates,which were added three kinds of auxiliary materials(humic acid,biological compound bacteria and water retention agent)on the basis of ratio screening of green soil and engineering waste.We used L9(34),4 factors and 3 levels for orthogonal test,with 10 replicates each type,and 100%green soil and 100%engineering waste as control.According to the range analysis of measured physical and chemical properties and growth index,we ensured significant varieties between focused factors and the optimum plant substrate after the correlation test and principal component analysis.The results showed that When the amount of green soil added is less than 30%,the physical properties of the matrix are significantly different from those of green soil 100%.Humic acid has the greatest impact on phytopathogenic substrates.In view of economic practicality,we suggested two kinds of phytosanitary ratios with low price and superior plant growth condition,namely humic acid 300g/m3,biological composite bacteria 100g/m3,the amount of water retention agent is 150g/m3,green soil:the ratio of engineering waste is 30:70;the humic acid is 300g/m3,the biological compound is 50g/m3,the amount of water retention agent is 450g/m3,green soil:the ratio of engineering waste is 50:50.
