National Parks are one of the most important categories of Protected Natural Areas in Russia.National Parks include natural complexes and objects,which have unique ecological,historical,and cultural values and are of national significance.First of all,the article gives an overview of the ecotourism development situation in Russia and attempts to determine the Russian system of Specially Protected Natural Areas(SPNA),which was federally adopted on February 15 in 1995.The research also seeks the origin roots of establishing National Parks,and strives to examine and analyze the management system of Protected Areas.In doing so,the background information derived from literature review,"Ecotourism on the way to Russia","Protected Areas in Russia:Legal regulation" and "Management Strategy of National Park" have been referred as standards.Then the reaserch presents a summary and analysis of a case study in the field of ecotourism development of Zabaikalsky National Park,based on several factors:management system,ecotourism products and services,functional zones,facilities,ecotrails,local community participation and etc.The key factors of influencing on ecotourism development in National Park are analysed and based on management of tourist flows,most popular types of tourism,infrastructure and other characteristics during years 2006-2015.
