Covering organic mulch mat is the effective way to reduce the dust in the city.Garden waste sticked into organic mulch mat by adhesive can effectively solve the problems of drift in the process of use.In this paper,the adhesive of organic mulac mat was mainly studied.Formaldehyde,urea,pyrolysis oil as raw material was used to prepare pyrolysis oil urea-formaldehyde resin(BUF)for organic mulch mat.And the effects of the content of bio-oil,the initial pH and formaldehyde/urea(F/U)molar on the properties of resins were investigated.Then,choose the best curing agent by studying four different curing agents on the properties of the resin.The structure of the resin was analyzed by using infrared spectrometer,thermogravimetric analyzer and differential scanning calorimeter.Last,the effects of material length,sizing and density on the properties of organic mulch mat were discussed.Ecological toxicity test and economic benefit analysis of leaching solution of organic mulch mat were studied.The main conclusions were listed:(1)The optimal conditions of preparing BUF was as follows:the content of bio-oil was 30%,the formaldehyde/urea(F/U)molar was 1.6,the initial pH was 8.5.Compared with the traditional UF resin,the viscosity of BUF resin decreases,the solid content increases,the hydroxymethyl content increases,and the water resistance increases.(2)Ammonium chloride and phosphoric acid(mixture ratio 1:1)was as curing agent.When adding 3 wt%,the properties of BUF performed well and realized low cost and fast room temperature curing(20h).(3)FTIR analysis showed that the introduction of polyhydric phenol made resin structure more compact,which increased the crosslinking degree of the resin.TGA analysis showed that pyrolysis oil reacted with formaldehyde,forming crosslinking structure,thus,resulting in the improvement of thermal stability.DSC analysis showed that pyrolysis oil increased the curing rate and reduced the curing temperature,which made room temperature curing more easy.(4)The optimum process for preparing organic mulch mat with BUF adhesive is that the thickness of raw material is 2mm,the slenderness ratio is 5?10,the amount of sizing is 20%,and the density is 0.25g/cm3.The process conditions for preparation of organic covering pad performance is good,the compressive strength of 0.72 MPa,formaldehyde emissions of 1.37mg/L-1,95%germination rate of leachate,the bare soil dust suppression effect(wind speed is less than six,dust suppression rate can reach more than 50%).
