In this paper,The aluminum-copper intermediate alloy is produced in remelt method by using the recycling waste copper clad aluminum wire and scrap copper wire.According the content of copper of copper clad match a certain quality of the scrap wire,which makes the mass radio of copper and aluminum is 1:1.By the special design of aluminum-copper intermediate alloy water cooling system,the problem that the aluminum-copper intermediate alloy including 50%copper element exist serious macro-segregation,finally acquire the satisfied quality aluminum-copper intermediate alloy.This paper studies the influence of the pouring temperature and cooling rate to the copper macro-segregation of aluminum-copper intermediate alloy and the internal quality of the intermediate alloy,when the pouring temperature reach 790? without using water cooling system,the aluminum-copper intermediate alloy have big grains,which is found serious copper element macro-segregation through composition detection by EDS.When the pouring temperature reach 720? with using the water cooling system,the grains of aluminum-copper intermediate alloy obviously become smaller,which is found the phenomenon of copper element macro-segregation get relieved through composition detection by EDS.When the pouring temperature reach 690? with using the water cooling system,the macro-segregation phenomenon of the copper element of intermediate alloy are basically eliminated and then the internal organization of the intermediate alloy is obvious refined.With the decrease of the pouring temperature and the shorter solidification time,the element recovery radio shows upward trend,the recovery radio that the pouring temperature reach 790? without using water cooling system is lowest 96.1%,and the pouring temperature reach 690? with using the water cooling system is highest 97.5%;The burning loss rate of aluminum and copper element shows downward trend,the burning loss rate of aluminum and copper element that the pouring temperature reach 790? without using water cooling system are the highest,respectively 8.60%,0.80%,the burning loss rate of aluminum and copper element that the pouring temperature reach 690? with using the water cooling system are the lowest,respectively 6.54%,0.26%.The copper element segregation content of aluminum-copper intermediate alloy ingot that the pouring temperature reach 790? without using water cooling system is serious,the distribution law of copper element presents higher surface and lower center,along the alloy ingot cross section,the content of copper element variance is 2.03,which is the highest;along aluminum-copper intermediate alloy ingot cross section,the phenomenon of copper element segregation that the pouring temperature reach 720? without using water cooling system is relieved,the content of copper element variance is 0.12,which presents the fluctuation is smaller,the copper element segregation content that the pouring temperature reach 650? without using water cooling system has been further improved,the content of copper element variance decrease 0.01.
