Research On Wear-Resisting Property Of Silicone Rubber

Polyvinyl chloride artificial leather,polyurethane artificial leather and super-fiber artificial leather are widely used in production and life,but the production process is seriously polluted,which is not in line with the concept of green development in China.In addition,the poor leather sensibility of polyvinyl chloride artificial leather,polyurethane artificial leather and super-fibre artificial leather limits their application and promotion.Silicone rubber artificial leather is a new generation of artificial leather rising in recent years.It has many advantages such as green processing,safety,non-toxicity,baby skin-like skin feeling and so on.It is expected to replace polyvinyl chloride artificial leather,polyurethane artificial leather and super-fiber artificial leather in an all-round way.However,the poor wear resistance of silicone rubber artificial leather has seriously affected its wide application and wide promotion.In this paper,the structure-activity relationship between the molecular structure and the wear resistance of silicone rubber has been deeply explored.The wear resistance of silicone rubber artificial leather was significantly improved by changing the molecular structure,adjusting the proportion of formulation and adding wear-resistant fillers.The wear resistance mechanism of silicone rubber artificial leather was discussed.In this paper,through testing the commercial silicone rubber,the wear resistance of silicone rubber or its tear strength and hardness are positively correlated.The controllable preparation of low-viscosity liquid silicone rubber with wear resistance grade 2 and easy processing operation was realized.When the formulation was 33%hexamethyldisiloxane,30%T40 SiO₂ with specific surface area of 400 m²/g,70%20,000 CS vinyl silicone oil and silicone-hydrogen ratio were 2.0,the performance of silicone rubber reached the best value.Finally,by adjusting the phenyl content in the molecular chain of silicone rubber,silicone rubber with good high temperature resistance and wear resistance grade 2 was prepared.Its tensile strength is 5.36 MPa,elongation is 201.36%,and tear strength is 6.21 KN/m.After treatment at 200?for 5 hours,its wear resistance remains unchanged,which has potential application prospects.
