Amides are a kind of important organic compounds, which are widely used in experimental research and industrial synthesis.Amide bond not only plays a significant role in life, such as peptide and protein skeleton, but also widely exists in pharmacological active compounds and functional materials, such as antibiotics and hydrogels. The synthesis of amides has been greatly explored,so as to achieve remarkable fruit.Nevertheless, there are still some shortcomings, such as the use of noble metal catalysts and/or acid, alkali, ligand and other additives, narrow substrate scope and so on.Therefore, finding a more efficient and convenient method to synthesize amides is still of great significance in organic synthesis.Based on previous reports, this paper studied the method of synthesizing amides efficiently under relatively simple conditions using cheap and easily available cobalt acetate or GO as catalysts.Phenanthridines are an important class of organic nitrogen-containing heterocyclic molecules, which widely exist in natural products and bioactive compounds. The synthesis of phenanthridine derivatives has potential application value, which attracts chemists to explore the methods of synthesis of phenanthridine derivatives. Many methods have been developed for the synthesis of phenanthridine derivatives, most of which require multi-step reactions or the use of activated raw materials.Hence, the development of new synthetic methods of phenanthridines is still worth exploring. The specific research work includes the following three parts:1.A new method for the transamination of amide derivatives with different amines was realized with nonmetal carbon material GO as catalyst. This method has the advantages of metal-free,as low as 3 wt % catalyst consumption, easy recovery and recycling, high efficiency, environmental friendly, which also in line with the development concept of green organic synthesis.2.A cobalt-catalyzed method for the efficient synthesis of amides has been developed.N-acylation of a variety of amines was efficiently realized with cobalt acetate as catalyst and DMF and other amides as acyl sources.Cobalt-catalyzed transamination has good substrate universality and functional group tolerance without any additives such as acid, alkali and ligand, and with the advantages of high yield, fast reaction rate and scalability to gram level. In addition, the capacity of cobalt catalyst can be further reduced to 3 mol% in the expansion reaction.3.In view of the above research,a novel protocol for the preparation of phenanthridines in one step based on transamination reaction was preliminarily studied in this paper. The phenanthridines were synthesized between diarylamine and amide with inorganic acid as catalyst by transamination, cyclization and dehydration aromatization. The advantages of the method are simple reaction conditions,no separation of intermediate products, high step efficiency and atomic economic efficiency.
