As a green environmentally friendly material preparation process,pulp molding has been widely used in various manufacturing industries in recent years,especially in the form of packaging products.However,with the improvement of industry requirements,Pulp molded packaging products are no longer satisfactory for buffering only,but also for display,which requires the products must have excellent apparent performance.Based on the existing research,this thesis uses the original pulp as the material to improve the apparent performance of the pulp molded packaging products by adding the additives.Combined with the quality evaluation index,the formula of the superior additive was obtained.Besides,its mechanism and characterization were studied by microscopic analysis.The apparent performance improvement effect of the test product is obvious,which can meet the requirements of fine manufacturing.The specific research contents are as follows:?1?Starting from the basic characteristics of pulp fibers,the visual defects existing on the surface of pulp molded packaging products are clarified,mainly due to the dusting problem and the low apparent smoothness.The wear resistance,interlayer bonding strength and friction coefficient were introduced as the quality evaluation index.Combined with the mechanism of wet part forming,chemical additives such as AKD sizing agent were selected as the sizing agent to improve the apparent performance of the product.?2?The effects of slurry and additives on the apparent properties of pulp molded packaging products were studied.The test results showed that the optimum slurry ratio was20%for coniferous wood pulp,52%for bamboo pulp and 28%for cane pulp.Each additive has obvious improvement effect on the apparent performance of the product.The amount of the additives was determined by single factor test:AKD sizing agent 0.15%-0.25%,CS1.0%-2.0%,PVA 0.5%-1.0%,CPAM 0.06%-0.09%,CMC 0.4%-0.6%,nano-SiO2dispersion 3%-9%.?3?The weight ratio of the three evaluation indexes was determined by principal component analysis method:wear resistance 20%,interlayer bonding strength 40%and friction coefficient 40%.The superior additives formula were determined by visual analysis of quadratic orthogonal test,and through the range analysis and variance analysis,the main order of the influence of various factors on the apparent performance of the product and the theoretical optimal formula were determined.Finally,two kinds of additive formulations were determined through verification experiments:one is AKD sizing agent 0.20%,CS1.5%,PVA 0.6%,CPAM 0.06%,CMC 0.6%,nano SiO2 dispersion 9%,at this time the apparent performance and strength properties of the products are all optimized.The other is AKD sizing agent 0.22%,CS1.25%,CMC 0.4%,nano SiO2 dispersion 9%,at this time the apparent performance and strength performance of the product are slightly weaker than the former,but still can reach a better level,the cost is also lower.?4?Comparing the microscopic analysis of the pulp molded packaging products before and after the additive addition,the mechanism of action of the additive and the fiber can be characterized.The microscopic morphological changes of the product were analyzed by SEM to characterize the effect of the additives on the morphology of the fibers.The change in chemical composition in the product was analyzed by FT-IR to characterize the reaction mechanism of the adjuvant.TGA is used to analyze the thermogravimetric properties of the product to characterize the underlying mechanism of the property performance under heat.
