In order to save production costs and improve production efficiency and ensure quality of liquid iron during the process of blast furnace in ironmaking or steelmaking,computer technology is needed to scientifically design proportion of raw material in the process of blast furnace.Based on Baosteel's actual parameters of the production process of ironmaking,this raw material proportioning system of Baosteel for ironmaking can assess price/performance ratio of primal fuel of blast furnace,optimize proportioning in sintering,calculate cost of coal blending in coking,and display ironmaking data and threedimensional models from multi perspectives.The system serves as a theoretical basis for actual production.Divided into four parts,the paper introduces a QT-based crossplatform iron making batching system: 1.The 1st part focuses on value assessment and calculation according to performance of part of the crude fuel in the process of blast furnace ironmaking.2.In the 2nd part,the paper firstly uses the approach of linear programming to build a mathematical model for the sintering batching process;and secondly,it uses the simplex method to find a solution.3.In the 3rd part,the paper firstly builds a mathematical model according to the coal blending principle for coking,and secondly it uses the particle swarm algorithm coupled with penalty function to find a solution.4.The 4th part focuses on the development of visualized functions for the process of blast furnace iron-making,such as display of ironmaking data in a tabular form,drawing 2D diagrams,2D blast furnace animation playback,and 3D dynamic display of the mathematical model of blast furnace.Currently,the development of iron and steel industry faces such problems as shortage of energy and resources and quality deterioration,which makes production costs of iron and steel companies increase year by year.In such a situation,Baosteel's proportioning system studied in this paper helps to reduce production costs of iron and steel companies,assist engineering workers with work that involves blast furnaces,and hence make the companies to earn a foothold in a homogenized market.
