As a raw material for nuclear energy, uranium has a high utilization value,so people continue to increase the exploitation of uranium. However,it also caused a series of radioactive waste water pollution. In this study,a method of using Activated carbon modified graphene sponge as adsorption material to purify radioactive waste water was proposed.Using the adsorption properties of Activated carbon, functional groups of graphene and adsorption sites, and the three-dimensional morphology of polyethylene sponge,a kind of plastic material with high adsorption properties can be formed. The main results are as follows:The preparation of biomass activated carbon is determined by(influence weight from large to small)alkali-carbon ratio, activation time, activation temperature and pyrolysis temperature.KOH activation modification can be roughly divided into pyrolysis carbonization stage, initial activation stage, melting acceleration stage, carbon consumption and pore enlargement stage.Removal mechanism of U(Ⅵ)by biomass activated carbon adsorbent is a physicochemical composite adsorption reaction with multiple molecular layers. At the same time,Fe3O4nanoparticles loading increased its oxidation performance and sorting capacity, and KOH activated pore formation increased specific surface area and enhanced physical adsorption capacity. The maximum specific surface area of the experiment was 1901m2·g-1.Graphene sponge material modified by activated carbon is mainly composed of carbon and oxygen functional groups of graphene, adsorption sites and three-dimensional structure of the sponge material.Through the analysis of adsorption isotherm, adsorption kinetics and thermodynamics, the mechanism of uranium removal is mainly chemical adsorption of multi-molecular layer accompanied by physical adsorption. The reaction is a spontaneous endothermic reaction, and high temperature is conducive to adsorption. The maximum adsorption capacity was14.3mg·g-1.This study will provide theoretical support for improving the adsorption performance of adsorbent materials by exploring the adsorption mechanism of modified materials and optimal preparation、application conditions.Activated carbon·graphene composite sponge has good plasticity and adsorption capacity,Low cost and simple preparation which should be of great practical significance in uranium-containing wastewater treatment.
