The decline of air quality and its various impacts have aroused people's attention to environmental problems.Among these influences,the safety problems of electrical equipment caused by the accumulation of surface contamination are particularly prominent.So far,a great deal of researches have been done on the problems caused by the pollution accumulation.But most of the work mainly focus on analyzing the influence of pollution accumulation and fewer focus on the methods to improve the surface states of conductors.The paper use aluminium blocks as the surface of conductors.Photocatalytic materials is coated on the surface of aluminium blocks to improve the surface states.This kind of material is used to degrade the cantamination on the surface,that has much value for the practice on the electric equipment.In this paper,the TiO2 is used as main component of photocatalytic materials.TiO2 block layer and mesoporous TiO2 layer is coated on the surface of aluminum block separately by spin coating method.Coated aluminium blocks are gotten after thermal treatment.TiO2 block layer is used to constraint electron.There are nano TiO2 particle in mesoporous TiO2 layer which can produce the pair of electron-hole.Hole can reacted to form hydroxyl radicals which have strong oxidative properties to degrade organic compounds.Methyl orange is used as contamination added on the surface of coated blocks by pipettor.Environmental simulation experiment box is designed for experiment.The box is used to generate different illumination intensity and electric field strength.The box is used to observe the photocatalytic effect of coated block on the different electric field strength or different illumination intensity.The experiment results show that higher illumination intensity can promote the degration of organic contamination.With the help of electric field,the photcatalytic effect is more obvious in the experiment of electric field.When the electric field strength is high,the promotion of electric field is saturated.And theoretical calculation based on the L-H theorey is designed to analyze the influence of electric field strength or illumination intensity to the photocatalytic effect.The results show that the degration of the methyl orange is better with the enhance of illumination intensity.With the help of electric field,the photocatalytic effect can be stronger.The electric field can restrian the recombination of electron and hole.More hole can join the photocatalytic reaction.But the assistance of electric field is satruated when the electric field is high.This is in agreement with the experimental results.
