Superhydrophobic surface has the excellent properties of self-cleaning,anti-icing,anti-fouling,oil-water separation and so on,it has high potential application value.The preparation of superhydrophobic and self-cleaning silk fabric also has high potential application value.In this paper,nano-magnesium oxide was used to construct roughness structure on the surface of silk fabric.Organosilicone were used to construct low surface energy on the surface of silk fabric.Through the combination of roughness surface structure and low surface energy,the silk fabric was finished to achieve superhydrophobic property.Firstly,nano-magnesium oxide was used to construct roughness on the surface of silk fabric.The silk fabric was further treated with PDMS for good superhydrophobic property.And explore The influence of various conditions on the hydrophobic propertiey of silk fabric surface,The optimized hydrophobic finishing process condition was that the concentration of PDMS is 5 g/L,dipping time is 1 min,magnesium oxide concentration is 10 g/L,dipping time is 6 min,curing at 120? for 80 min.And the silk fabrics before and after finish was tested by scaning electron microscopy(SEM),atomic force microscope(AFM),whiteness,permeability breaking strength,self-cleaning,washing durability and so on.Compared the finishing silk with the original silk,the whiteness increased,permeability decreased,weft strength increased,warp strength slightly decreased,self-cleaning and super hydrophobic properties was acquired.Secondly,The silk fabric was finished with DTMS and MgO.The effects of magnesium oxide concentration,soaking time,DTMS concentration,dipping time,curing temperature and time were investigated.The optimized hydrophobic finishing process condition was that the concentration of DTMS is 10 g/L,dipping time is 2 min;magnesium oxide concentration is 10 g/L,dipping time is 4 min;curing at 80? for 4h.And the silk fabrics before and after finish was tested by SEM,AFM,whiteness,permeability breaking strength,self-cleaning,washing durability and so on.Compared the finished silk with the original silk,the whiteness increased,permeability decreased,weft strength increased,warp strength slightly decreased,.self-cleaning and super hydrophobic properties was obtained.Finally,using hydrosilylation reaction between POSS-Octavinyl substituted and polyhydrosiloxane,and finishing it on the surface of silk fabric treated by nano-magnesium oxide to form a low surface energy film.The influence of various conditions on the hydrophobic properties of silk fabric surface was explored.The optimized hydrophobic finishing process condition was the ratio of polyhydrosiloxane and POSS-Octavinyl substituted was 1.75:1;the concentration of polyhydrosiloxane is 17.5 g/L,Dipping time is 4 min;magnesium oxide concentration is 10 g/L,dipping time is 4 min;curing at 100 C for 80 min.Silk fabrics before and after finish was tested by SEM,AFM,whiteness,permeability breaking strength,self-cleaning and washing durability.Comparing the finishing silk with the original silk,the whiteness increased,permeability decreased,breaking strength increased,self-cleaning and superhydrophobic properties was achieved.
