Characteristics And Level Evaluation Of Public Traffic Safety Awareness Of Different Groups

Road traffic safety has become the biggest public hazard in the world,which has brought great harm to families and society.In China,85% of road traffic accidents are caused by traffic participants' non-compliance with traffic rules and lack of common sense of traffic safety.The main reason for these violations and lack of common sense of traffic safety is that the public's awareness of traffic safety is relatively weak.Therefore,raising public awareness of traffic safety can effectively prevent road traffic accidents.This research originates from the open fund of the Key Laboratory of Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Public Security: the investigation method and evaluation system of public traffic safety awareness(2018ZDSYSKFKT02).It analyses the characteristics of public traffic safety awareness and evaluates the level of public traffic safety awareness of different groups.In order to explore the influencing factors of public traffic safety awareness,this study developed and designed the Public Traffic Safety Awareness Scale,and conducted a questionnaire survey.Exploratory factor analysis(EFA)and confirmatory factor analysis(CFA)were used to analyze the sample data obtained from the survey.The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were verified,and the factors of public traffic safety awareness were determined.On this basis,structural equation is constructed to analyze the influencing factors of public traffic safety awareness.Based on the analysis results,a grey fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model was established to evaluate the public traffic safety awareness of different groups.The research shows that the established path equation model can effectively explain public traffic safety awareness;demographic variables have no significant direct impact on public traffic safety awareness,but have significant impact on personality traits and traffic safety climate;personality traits and traffic safety climate have significant direct impact on public traffic safety awareness,and the evaluation model based on this is constructed.It can scientifically and effectively evaluate the public awareness of traffic safety.In this study,through the construction of evaluation indicators of public traffic safety awareness,explore the influencing factors and mechanism of public safety awareness including various groups,quantitatively evaluate the public traffic safety awareness,and find out the weak points of different groups' traffic safety awareness.
