In the automotive industry,the use of light weight materials can not only reduce energy consumption,but also increase driving mileage.At the same time,it will have a certain impact on the automotive power system,making the car a more environmentally friendly power source.At present,the european and american markets have already applied aluminum alloy as a light metal in many types of vehicles,and even some automobiles have adopted all-aluminum body.As an automotive aluminum alloy,6XXX series aluminum alloy is the most representative one.This kind of aluminum alloy mainly contains Si and Mg elements,and can form the main strengthening phase Mg2Si.After heat treatment,the microstructure and mechanical properties of 6XXX aluminum alloy can be improved effectively,and the ideal effect can be achieved.At room temperature,6XXX series aluminum alloy has medium strength,good weld ability and corrosion resistance.It is mainly used in transportation and structural engineering industry,and it is a good alloy to replace iron and steel materials.In this paper,6063 aluminum alloy sheet produced by casting-rolling process is taken as the main research object.Different rolling and heat treatment processes are adopted to treat the aluminum alloy sheet.The structure and properties of the sheet are observed,analyzed and compared,in order to find the difference and relationship between different processes,and to provide a more powerful theoretical support for optimizing 6063 aluminum alloy casting-rolling process.The experimental results show that the dendritic surface structure and equiaxed structure at the center of 6063aluminum alloy cast-rolled sheet are formed by casting-rolling process.At the same time,when the temperature is 420?,all the indexes of the material reach the best level.The properties of 6063 aluminum Alloy after solution treatment are better,and the grain size is finer and more uniform.For 6063 aluminum alloy rolled by cast-rolling and secondary rolling with waste heat,the better solution treatment temperature is 550?and the holding time is 2 h.The properties of 6063 aluminum alloy slab obtained by artificial aging treatment are the best when the aging temperature is 170?and the aging time is 6 h.
