As the most effective processing tool for high-precision machining of hard and brittle materials,abrasive tools are widely used in grinding,grinding and polishing processes.The size,shape,spacing,height and other characteristics of abrasive particles on the surface of grinding tools often directly affect the processing process and then affect the quality of the final processed products.Therefore,it is very important to accurately and effectively evaluate the characteristics of abrasive particles on the surface of grinding tools.However,the existing commercial instruments can only give some descriptions of the characteristic parameters for the abrasive tools,and can not comprehensively evaluate the surface morphology of the abrasives,which makes it difficult to provide a comprehensive reference for industrial production.Therefore,it is necessary to construct an open source special software system that can provide comprehensive feature parameter analysis and evaluation for abrasive tools.Based on the existing evaluation methods of abrasive surface morphology,the two-dimensional features such as size,shape and spacing of abrasive tools and three-dimensional height feature parameters,which affect the processing of abrasive tools are used as the evaluation index to construct a software system independent of measurement system and capable of evaluating the two-dimensional and three-dimensional morphology characteristics of grinding tools.The main research work includes the following aspects:(1)Two-dimensional and three-dimensional parameters evaluation indexes of abrasive tool surface topography evaluation system are put forward.The two-dimensional parameters mainly aim at the image data of abrasive grains,and characterize the size,shape and liquid capacity of abrasive grains by two-dimensional features such as abrasive area,circumference,equivalent particle size,shape similarity and spacing.The three-dimensional parameters extract three-dimensional height and texture features directly from XYZ type data without boundary recognition based on ISO25178-2 standard parameter system,and the two feature parameters are composed of the above two parts.Software system evaluation index.(2)The two-dimensional characteristic parameters of abrasive particles and ISO25178-2 standard parameters are taken as the evaluation indexes of the software system,and the evaluation software system is designed.Firstly,on the basis of analyzing the functional requirements of the software system,the whole system is divided into data processing module,analysis and evaluation module and three-dimensional point cloud module.Data processing module mainly completes data preprocessing,image segmentation,evaluation datum removal and other functions,elaborates the algorithm theory of module application,and gives the design of the whole module;analysis and evaluation module design includes two-dimensional parameters and three-dimensional parameters evaluation function module,aiming at obtaining abrasive characteristic parameters;three-dimensional point cloud module includes data type conversion,data preprocessing and point cloud interaction function module design,which improves the interacticity of the system while displaying the three-dimensional surface morphology of the grinding wheel.The three modules together constitute the whole software system and realize the software function.(3)Based on VC++ software platform,integrated data processing module,analysis and evaluation module and 3D point cloud module,making it a set of special evaluation software system for abrasive surface topography independent of measurement system,and using block diamond grinding tools For example,the two-dimensional characteristics such as the size,spacing and shape similarity of the abrasive grains and the ISO25178-2 series parameters are evaluated to verify the effectiveness of the evaluation software system.
