Research On The Influence Of Enterprise Environmental Ethics On Enterprise Economic Performance From The Perspective Of Green Innovation

The development of modern industry has brought great changes to the social economy and enriched the material life of human beings.At the same time,the contradiction between human beings and the natural environment is growing day by day.Environmental problems have become a global hot topic.Despite various environmental regulations enacted by government agencies,a number of environmental pollution incidents have been reported in recent years.Enterprises are the main enablers of environmental problems.Therefore,to solve environmental problems,in addition to government regulation,enterprises need to pay attention to environmental problems and consciously carry out environmental protection practices.Enterprises are profitable organizations,and the pursuit of profits is the driving force of enterprise development.How to maintain the balance between environmental protection and enterprise economic performance has become a relatively serious problem faced by enterprise managers.This study taking green innovation as the intermediary variable and consumer environmental concern as the regulating variable,and through the scientific empirical research process,reveals the influencing path and mechanism of green innovation on enterprise environmental ethics and enterprise economic performance.Through the questionnaire method,the data collected from 181 domestic enterprises,the empirical research shows that environmental ethics can promote enterprise economic performance.And green product innovation and green process innovation play an intermediary role between environmental ethics and economic performance.Consumer environmental concern has a positive moderating effect on the relationship between enterprise environmental ethics and green product innovation,while it has an insignificant moderating effect between enterprise environmental ethics and green process innovation.
