Recently,tomato industry in China has developed very rapidly.In 2017,Chinese total tomato paste production was 900,000 tons,with an actual export of 670,000 tons and a value of more than 500 million US dollars.The main exporting countries were Italy,Russia,Nigeria,Japan,Ghana,Saudi Arabia and more than 150 countries and regions.As one of the largest export foods in China,tomato paste ranks second in the world in output and first in export volume.Xinjiang has the largest tomato paste production and export base in China.The planting area of processed tomatoes in Xinjiang has reached 1.6 million mu,the total output of processed tomato raw materials can reach more than 8.5 million tons,the annual output of processed tomato raw materials can reach more than 1 million tons,accounting for more than 70% of the total output of tomato paste in China,accounting for about 20% of the total output of world tomato paste,and earning foreign exchange amounting to 450 million US dollars.However,with the rapid development of tomato industry in Xinjiang,especially in the face of the current appreciation of RMB and the severe economic situation,some deep-seated contradictions and problems have become increasingly prominent.In this paper,the current situation of tomato paste for export in Xinjiang was analyzed,and the safety control problems were put forward.The main diseases and insect pests of processing tomato raw materials,the investigation and analysis of the use of agricultural inputs in the process of planting raw materials,and the risk analysis and evaluation of the safety status of residues in products were studied,then determine the important harmful factors and links,implement the whole process control,strengthen the monitoring of pesticide residues and harmful microorganisms and other safety and health projects by standardizing the production of planting bases,drug use management,HACCP system establishment and processing process,and improve the system of quality and safety control of export tomato paste in Xinjiang based on solving the problems at the source and in the production and processing process.Meanwhile,through analysis and research on the status quo of export tomato paste production and processing enterprises in the operation of HACCP system,the advantages of establishing safety control system are explored,which will provide power and guidance for future tomato paste production enterprises in establishing and improving safety control system.Finally,according to the current situation of food safety management in China,suggestions on the establishment and management strategy of quality and safety control system for export tomato paste products are put forward to ensure the safety and health quality of export tomato paste and the safety of export food.
