Casting process design is the beginning of the entire casting production process.The pros and cons of product process design directly affect the quality of products and the company's benefits.At present,the foundry company basically adopts the traditional process design method for new product development.It mainly relies on traditional experience to formulate the process plan.After the trial production,the final mature process plan can be determined after process improvement.This process design method has the disadvantages of long product development cycle and large cost investment,which not only reduces the development efficiency of new products within the company,but also affects the market competitiveness of the enterprise.A priority direction of development of the foundry industry is process design experience from the traditional leap into the computer-aided design,computer technology widely used in the foundry industry is an important mark of the foundry industry experience in process design from the judge to scientific research.The K6 bolster product has a complex structure and poor casting processability.As an important part of the railway truck bogie,it bears impact forces from all directions during use,and it is prone to fatigue damage.Therefore,the requirements for the bolster acceptance are not only the appearance of the bolster and the dimensional tolerances.On the one hand,the internal tissue densification and the surface casting defects are more important parts,and at the same time,better process solutions are needed to guarantee the overall quality.This thesis consists of two parts.Firstly,the K6 bolster is firstly modeled by Creo software.After modeling,the.igs format file is exported.Next,the Procast software is used to simulate the K6 bolster.Two aspects of work were done: First,through the observation and analysis of the velocity field,temperature field and temperature field of the K6 bolster filling process,the scientific and reasonable setting of the gating system in the current K6 bolster process scheme was verified.Second,in order to consider the rationality of the current pouring temperature setting(1560 ° C-1575 ° C),while exploringthe relationship between the casting temperature change and the quality of the casting,respectively,set the pouring temperature of 1560 ° C / 1570 ° C / 1580 ° C three temperatures However,in general,the number of defects has not changed much,and it can be concluded that the current pouring temperature range of 1560 ° C to 1580 ° C is reasonable and feasible.The third is to optimize the current process plan of the K6 bolster.Second: design and develop a casting simulation database system belonging to the foundry company,statistically integrate the relevant data required for simulation,facilitate the search and call of relevant parameters in the simulation process,and provide favorable data support for the application of simulation software.This system adopts the C/S mode and selects the Winform technology building project of the.net platform.It realizes the functions of searching,adding,modifying,deleting and viewing the system,which can bring great convenience to the design work of the process technicians.
