The color-changing fiber technology for smart fabrics has developed rapidly in recent years,but its lack of fiber wearability,low-cost production and large-scale production has greatly limited the industrial development of color-changing fibers and their application in real-life scenarios.Therefore,it is of great scientific and practical significance to produce ultra-long continuous intelligent color-changing fibers with excellent performance through a low-cost technology.In this thesis,thermochromic fibers and electrochromic fibers embedded in metal electrodes with different structures were prepared by thermal fiber drawing method for the first time.It not only realizes micron-scale thermochromic fibers and electrochromic fibers,but also lays a foundation for realizing multi-electrode flexible fibers by fiber thermal drawing process.In this thesis,thermochromic composites with microcapsule doping concentrations of 1.5 wt.%,5 wt.%,8 wt.% and 12 wt.% were prepared by solution mixing method,and the composite was prepared as thermochromic fibers and electrochromic fibers by thermal fiber drawing method.As the doping concentration of the thermochromic microcapsules increased,the transparency of the composite decreased significantly,but the color change temperature has not changed.The electrochromic fibers was controlled by voltage(~ 3 V)to achieve a reversible color change from green to white in a short period of time(10 s).And the electrochromic fiber was woven into a simple fabric to maintain a fast reversible color change,meeting the requirements of wearable color-changing fabrics.
