Induction heating technology was a widely used heating technology,which had the unique advantages of high heating efficiency,fast heating speed,low oxidation loss and easy automatic control.The temperature of the induction heating not only affected the amount of oxidation loss of the steel sheet,but also changed some properties of the workpiece,such as hardness,strength,plasticity and toughness.Uneven temperature distribution of the strip caused internal stress inside the steel plate and affected product quality.Therefore,it was very necessary to understand the heating characteristics of steel during induction heating and the final temperature distribution.According to the actual production needed,this paper selected 45 steel as the simulation calculation material,and used ANSYS finite element software to establish the strip induction heating model.By setting initial conditions and boundary conditions,the magneto-thermal coupling of induction heating was performed on ANSYS software.The experimental results showed that the induction heating of strip was affected by three factors: current frequency,current density and air gap.As the frequency increased,the temperature of the surface and the core of the strip was increased,but the excessive current frequency caused the temperature difference between the surface and the core to become large,and the high frequency equipment was expensive.The higher the current density,the temperature of the strip was higher;The larger the induction heating air gap,the overall heating temperature of the strip was lower;By analyzing the influence of several air gaps on the distribution of electromagnetic induction intensity of strip steel,heat transfer of strip and temperature distribution,the essential reason and optimal experimental scheme of strip induction heating were obtained.When the current frequency was 2000 Hz,the current density was 1.818×107A/m2,and the air gap was 3mm,The heating time was the shortest,the heating efficiency was the highest,and the heating effect was the best.Figure22;Table7;Reference 61.
