Nanomaterials with regular structures have attracted great attention not only because of its nanosize effects but also for its high reproducibility.Nanomaterials have lots of unique surface characteristics,such as large surface area,catalysis,superhydrophobicity and surface enhanced Raman scattering(SERS).Since nano gold can induce surface plasmon resonance,the stable and anti-corrosive gold is commonly used to fabricate SERS substrate.However,it will cost a lot to fabricate gold nanostructures merely with gold because it is expensive.If people can find a way to prepare gold nanostructures on a substrate initially with regular structures,cost can be greatly reduced.Here we report an electrodeposition method to fabricate gold nanostructures on the Ni nanocone surface.Different gold nanostructures can be achieved by adjusting different plating bath and electrodeposition conditions.At the same time,the influence of gold nanostructure on the superhydrophobic and SERS performance is systematically studied.The research contents and main conclusions are as follows:1.Au film is deposited on the Ni nanocone surface and the growth of gold is studied via SEM and TEM methods.Optimizing the cicada wing-like Au@Ni nanocone array as the best one based on the experimental results and inspiration of cicada wing.2.Porous Au nanostructure is fabricated by geometric replica of nanocone surface.After surface modification,the two complementary structures show opposite adhesion to water droplet,which can be used to transport micro-droplet.The adhesive difference can be explained by Cassie mode and Wenzel impregnating mode.3.Electroplating gold nanospheres on the Ni nanocone surface to construct lotus-leaf-like gold nanostructure.Inspired by the self-cleaning of lotus leaf,it shows superhydrophobicity with low adhesion to water droplet.4.R6 G and CV are employed as probe molecules to analyze the SERS performance of different gold nanostructures.Combined with EM field simulation by FDTD,the SERS mechanism is further explored.
