Trifluoromethyl-containing compounds are widely used in many fields. The introduction of trifluoromethyl groups into organic molecules has been an ongoing pursuit of organic chemists. The difunctionalization reaction of an olefin has great application value in synthesis since it can introduce two functional groups to a double bond through a one-step reaction. This paper is mainly divided into two parts.Part ?: Visible light induced hydroxytrifluoromethylation of alkenesWe use visible light to promote iodotrifluoromethane as a trifluoromethyl source.Under the condition of no organic photocatalyst, the trifluoromethyl hydroxylation reaction of olefin is achieved by amine additives under air conditions, and the reaction conditions are mild. The substrate has a wide adaptability.Part ?: Synthesis of Novel FluorosurfactantsCompared with fluorine-free surfactants, fluorosurfactants have unique structures and excellent properties. Therefore, fluorosurfactants are often used in special fields where conventional surfactants cannot be applied. However, the traditional fluorine-containing surface is gradually banned due to its high toxicity. We have developed a number of new fluorosurfactants for synthesis and investigated their properties to find environmentally friendly fluorosurfactants.
