Theory and practice show that improving the water quality of reservoirs and downstream rivers through reservoir regulation is an important non-engineering measure to improve the comprehensive utilization efficiency of water resources.In order to improve the water quality of the reservoir and solve the water shortage in the Taizi River Basin,based on the thorough investigation and analysis of the sources of major pollutants and their temporal and spatial variations,the hydrodynamic-water quality model in the reservoir area was established to quantitatively describe the temporal and spatial variations of water quality in the reservoir area.Based on the above research,the regulation scheme of Shenwo Reservoir is put forward to meet the requirements of water quality improvement,so as to improve the comprehensive utilization efficiency of water resources of Shenwo Reservoir.The main research contents and achievements are as follows:(1)Quantitative evaluation of the water pollution status of Shenwo Reservoir and determination of water body function according to the needs of water users.The water quality of Shenwo Reservoir is comprehensively evaluated by single factor evaluation method,grey correlation degree method and BP neural network method.The results show that the water quality of Shenwo Reservoir is generally in category IV,and ammonia nitrogen,total nitrogen and total phosphorus are the main pollutants of Shenwo Reservoir.(2)The distribution law of pollution sources in the study area was investigated in depth.Regression analysis and seasonal Kendall test were used to analyze the temporal and spatial variation law of main pollutants in Shenwo Reservoir.It was found that the water quality of Shenwo Reservoir was closely related to the concentration of pollutants in the reservoir,the inflow discharge and the water level of the reservoir.The theoretical basis for improving the water quality in the reservoir area by reservoir regulation scheme was preliminarily laid.(3)In view of the characteristics of pollution sources and complex topographic conditions of Shenwo Reservoir,the MIKE hydrodynamic-water quality simulation model is established to quantitatively describe the response relationship between water quality and inflow flow and water level,and to further lay the theoretical foundation for the regulation scheme of Shenwo Reservoir.(4)To serve the goal of improving water quality and water use efficiency of Shenwo Reservoir,based on the results of hydrodynamic-water quality simulation in the reservoir area,according to the scenarios of different inflows,water use target of downstream users,12 water quality improvement control schemes of Shenwo Reservoir are put forward.Through the analysis of the improvement of water quality of each scheme,a feasible water quality and quantity joint regulation scheme is put forward to guide the actual operation of Shenwo Reservoir.Finally,summarized the full text and pointed out the work that needs to be resoled and improved.
