As an important industrial raw material,rubber polymer materials have been widely used in many fields due to their unique properties.As an important index to evaluate the performance of rubber,wear performance could be affected by many factors in the tribological system,and it has attracted many scholars' in-depth research.In the actual application process,tires or rubber parts will generate a large amount of hysteresis heat due to the influence of cyclic stress,bringing about an increase in temperature.Due to the unique thermophysical properties of rubber polymer materials,the study of high temperature wear characteristics and wear mechanism of rubber is particularly important.In this paper,a high temperature wear testing platform was built to simulate the hysteretic heat generation of tires and rubber parts in the use process.LEXT OLS 4100 3D measuring microscope(LSCM)and Hitachi SU 8010 electron scanning microscope(SEM)were both used to obtain the morphology image,profile and roughness characteristic parameters of rubber wear surface.The statistical distribution law of roughness characteristic parameters was obtained by parameter statistical method,and the regression model of wear performance and surface roughness characteristic parameters was constructed by multiple regression analysis.Fractal theory and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy were used to characterize the micro-morphology and mechanochemical reaction of wear surface at high temperature.Based on various characterization methods of wear surface morphology,the high temperature wear characteristics of rubber were studied and main contents of this paper are as follows:Observing wear surface under different testing conditions based on 3D measuring microscope and scanning electron microscope and extracting the characteristic parameters of wear surface roughness.Obtaining the influence of experimental conditions(angle,load and temperature)on wear surface morphology,structure and surface contour characteristics;Statistical analysis of roughness parameters to obtain the system of roughness parameters under different testing conditions.Based on the large data processing SPSS software,the regression model of wear performance and surface roughness characteristic parameters was constructed by multiple regression analysis.Based on the box dimension calculation method of fractal theory,a multi-fractal MATLAB calculation program was compiled,and the wear surface morphology images after black-white binarization were calculated by multi-fractal method.The multi-fractal spectrum curves and related parameters at different temperatures and angles were obtained.Rubber wear rate under different test conditions(temperature,angle,load and mileage)was measured using the high temperature wear test platform improved by Akron wear tester.The relationship between the experimental conditions and the wear rate of rubber was obtained.Based on the fully digital FT-IR VERTEX 70,comparing the infrared spectrum after 80°C abrasion with the infrared spectrum of the control group(before abration),through qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation,it can be found that after high temperature wear experiments at 80°C,two kinds of surface mechanochemical reactions,molecular bond breakage and oxidation degradation,mainly occur on the wear surface.The micro-morphology of rubber wear surface was expressed in terms of its micro-morphology,profile and roughness characteristic parameters.The wear surface was characterized,and analyzed by means of multi-typing spectrum and fourier transform infrared spectroscopy in fractal theory.The wear characteristics of rubber under experimental conditions were studied by various means and methods.The micro-morphology of rubber wear surface was expressed in terms of its micro-morphology,profile and roughness characteristic parameters.The wear surface was characterized and analyzed by means of multi-typing spectrum and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.Based on the expression and analysis of wear surface by various methods,the high temperature wear characteristics and mechanism of rubber were studied in depth.
