It was built as a national key cultural relics protection unit in 2005,selected as a world cultural heritage reserve list in 2005.The 534.2-square-meter paintings in the Daxiong Hall in the temple are rich in atmosphere and carry rich historical information.Under the influence of many factors, murals have a variety of diseases, especially the disease of the base seriously affects the life of the mural. In the history, protection and reinforcement have been carried out many times, such as cement repairing the mantle layer falling off,and the organic material PVB strengthening the mural surface. At present, the preservation of mural paintings in the temple is still not optimistic.Commonly used reinforcing materials on the surface of the mural include organic materials and inorganic materials, wherein the organic materials have poor compatibility with the mural base;although the inorganic materials have good compatibility, there are disadvantages such as poor solubility in water. With the continuous development of materials science, the application of nanotechnology has improved the reinforcement effect of traditional inorganic materials. In this paper, the feasibility of the reinforcement of the new nanometer calcium hydroxide in murals and the evaluation of the reinforcement effect were studied with the frusic murals simulated by Fengguo Temple.First, study whether nano-calcium hydroxide has an effect on the common paint pigments in Fengguo Temple.According to the common pigments in the mural paintings of the hall are red, green and white. In this paper, six kinds of pigments, such as patina, red lead, earth red, kaolin, cinnabar and mineral green, are selected and mixed with nano-calcium hydroxide for 7 days, then the dry mixture is analyzed. Finally,in terms of microscopic morphology and material composition,in addition to the discovery of some lead dan to lead white, the material as a whole has little effect on mural pigments.Secondly, the nano-calcium hydroxide reinforcement process and reinforcement effect were analyzed.According to empirical research, the reinforcement effect of the painting process is greater than that of the spraying process. The number of brushing is better at 5 times, and the change of the surface strength of the mural is small while the mechanical strength is improved.Compared with the traditional materials, the SF-016 reinforcement sample is found that the surface of the block is reflective,nano-calcium hydroxide performs better.Since the field operation is generally first demineralized and reinforced, the sample of this experiment does not consider the influence of sulfate. In this paper, the possible influence of nanometer calcium hydroxide on the pigment in the protection of murals is studied for the first time, which promotes the application of the material in cultural relics protection and provides a basis for subsequent research.
