?-Al2O3 is a widely used ceramic material.The?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane can be used not only as support carrier but also as microfiltration membrane directly.However,the sintering temperature required for the preparation of?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane is high,and it is easy to be polluted by microorganisms in the process of application.Therefore,it is of great significance that how to maintain high strength at low sintering temperature and improve the anti-fouling performance of ceramic membrane.In this paper,hybrid hollow fiber membrane was prepared by phase inversion sintering with blending other inorganic materials and?-Al2O3 powder,and its properties were studied.First of all,at a certain sintering temperature,separately studied the addictive amount of nano?-Al2O3,TiO2,ZrO2 on the influence of bubble pressure,porosity,pure water flux and bending strength of?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane.It was found that the strength of hollow fiber membrane was increased by adding nano?-Al2O3,TiO2,ZrO2,but its pure water flux and porosity were smaller than that of pure?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane,while the addition of diatomite can not only improve the strength of?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane,but also improve the pure water flux and porosity of?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane.Therefore,increasing sintering temperature,studied the effects of diatomite additive amount and sintering temperature on the properties of?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane.The results show that,the hollow fiber membrane has higher pure water flux and higher mechanical strength than pure?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane.When the addition of diatomite is 10wt%,the sintering temperature is 1250?and the sintering time is 2h,the bending strength of diatomite/?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane is 15.83MPa,and the pure water flux is3227.18L/?m2·h?with the operating pressure of 0.15MPa,average pore diameter is 0.270.40?m,bubble pressure is 0.220.43MPa.In the experiment of removing Escherichia coli,the removal rate is more than 99.99%,which can effectively remove the Escherichia coli in drinking water and can be used in the microfiltration of drinking water.Also,Cu-Zn alloy powder with bactericidal effect and?-Al2O3 powder were blended to prepare Cu-Zn/?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane using phase transformation sintering technique at a sintering temperature of 1300?.Studied the effect of the addition of Cu-Zn alloy on the membrane properties and antibacterial properties.The results show that rage of the average pore size of Cu-Zn/?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane is 0.3140.438?m,the optimum addition of Cu-Zn alloy is 3wt%,and then the pure water flux is2462.11L/?m2·h?,the bending strength is 8.11MPa,filtration removal rate is 99.99%,antibacterial rate is 73.1%.Therefore,the addition of Cu-Zn alloy to?-Al2O3 hollow fiber membrane can reduce the adsorption,growth and propagation of microbe on the membrane surface,and prolong the service life of the membrane.
