The collection and management of radiation protection data in nuclear power plant have significant reference and guidance to operation and outage of nuclear power plant.However,the current nuclear power plant radiation protection data exists as paper documents or electronic documents and majority of the data was manually collected.In order to improve the efficiency of collecting and managing nuclear power plant radiation protection data,nuclear power station decide to build a unified collection and management system for radiation protection.According to the actual requirements of nuclear power plant and after careful investigation and requirement analysis,this thesis proposed a IOT technology based radiation protection monitoring and management system(RPMMS).The primary work of this thesis are as follows.1.By the field research of the management of radiation protection andworkflow in nuclear power plant,the thesis thoroughly understood the actualrequirements on radiation protection in nuclear power plant.Based on the in-depth analysis on requirements of nuclear power plant,the monitoring andmanagement system based on IOT technologies was finally proposed.2.The thesis proposed a IOT technology based real-time monitoring system.The system can upload data to cloud services through AllJoyn based sensornetwork.The cloud services will ingest huge amount of ingress data and thebackend cloud services will process those data in real time.Finally,thesystem will display the real-time monitoring information on the real-timemonitoring page.3.The thesis developed a radiation protection management system.The systemcan manage the real time monitoring data and historical outage data together.It can also provide query and analysis capabilities on radiation protectiondata.Thereby,it can assist engineers and leadership to make decisionsaccording to the insight of those radiation data.4.The whole solution was built on top of cloud computing.It fully utilizedautoscale and load balance capabilities in cloud computing.Thus,itimproved the stability and robustness of the system.This thesis is based on the actual requirements of nuclear power plant.The investigation of actual requirements,selection of relative techniques and the proposal of monitoring and management system in this thesis,together contribute to the solution of the actual challenges that the radiation power plant facing.Besides,the system has some guidance and reference to other monitoring sensor networks or telemetry systems.
