Friction stir welding(FSW)is an advanced method of welding.During the process of welding,real-time monitoring and controlling the parameters of welding such as pressure,torque and temperature is vital to the safety of equipment and the stability of welding quality.However,power supply and signal transmission is the most difficult problem in this research because the welding handle is in high speed rotating state.With the rapid development of Induvtive Coupled Power Transmission technology,this technology could solve the power transmission problem effectively compared to the traditional technology in the complex condition of high speed rotating,dust and so on.But when it comes to the metal environment,there are some technical bottleneck need to be made a progress in the aspects of supply efficiency and stability.This paper is based on a cooperation project “power transfer and signal transmission equipment research based on inductive coupling”,and intended to monitoring the parameters of metal shaft handle such as pressure,torque and temperature wirelessly.In which the key technology of power transmission wirelessly and signal transmission reversely in the metal shaft handle,was proposed innovatively,which include the power and signal transmission system,measurement system and digital controlling system.In the stator,a circuit scheme of power supply based on inductive coupled was raised in this paper,which aim to transfer energy from stator to rotator wirelessly;In the rotator,a signal acquisition circuit proposal was designed,and then completed signal transmission wirelessly from rotator to stator based on the principle of reflected impedance modulation.In order to restore the digital signals,this paper designed a detection circuit and realized the feedback control function and display function during the process of friction stir welding.At last,various experiments for verification in actual environment were proposed for wireless power supply testing,wireless signal transmission testing and measurement calibration testing of the system.Experimental results showed that the system does have the required precision and is competent for real-time monitoring and controlling the parameters of friction stir welding.
