Metal-Organic Frameworks?MOFs?have been a focused research field due to their diverse structures and properties.The functional properties of MOFs are mainly determined by the organic ligands and central metal ions.Then some applications are explored by analysis of the structural characteristics of MOFs.Among them,the pyridyl-carboxylic acid ligands have strong coordination ability and various coordination modes.Thereby,in this study,two rigid pyridine-tetracarboxylic acid organic ligands2,6-di?2',5'-dicarboxylphenyl?pyridine?H4L1?and 1,3-di?2',4'-dicarboxylphenyl?pyridine?H4L2?have been chosen to build new MOFs.Using these ligands and the metal ions Mn?II?,Cu?II?,Co?II?,Pb?II?and Cd?II?,five MOFs with novel structure and good stability were successfully synthesized by changing the reaction conditions.Their applications in gas selective adsorption,magnetism,catalytic CO2 conversion and fluorescenc were discussed in detail.The specific research contents are as follows:Chapter 1.The development of coordination chemistry and the research status of functional coordination compounds are briefly described.Chapter 2.A high-porosity MOF[Mn4?L1?2?H2O?4]·4DMF·H2O?1?was synthesized by H4L1 ligand and Mn?II?ion.We studied the gas adsorption and separation property?CO2and CH4?of MOF 1,the catalytic performance for cycloaddition reaction,the adsorption performance of organic dyes and the magnetic properties.With the similar experimental conditions,another new[Cu?H2L1??NMP?]·NMP·H2O?2?with binuclear paddle-wheel motif has been constructed by H4L1 ligand and Cu?II?ion,and we studied the magnetic property of 2.Chapter 3.In this chapter,a magnetic MOF[Co3?L1??OH?2?H2O?4]·NMP·3H2O?3?with1D chain structure SBU was synthesized by H4L1 ligand and Co?II?ion.The magnetic properties of 3 were systematically studied.We have studied the gas adsorption property of 3,the result shows that 3 can be used as a potential porous material for the adsorption and separation of CO2 and C2H6 gases in mixed gases.Chapter 4.We have studied the fluorescence property of a new 3D MOF[Pb4?L1?2?H2O?2]·DMF·6H2O?4?,which was synthesized from H4L1 ligand and Pb?II?ions.In addition,a 3D porous MOF[H2N?CH3?2]2[Cd3?L2?2?H2O?4]·DMF?5?was built by H4L2 ligand and d100 Cd?II?ions.The gas adsorption studies show that 5 has a good separation ability to CO2/CH4 two-component mixture gas,and the fluorescence property test shows that 5 can also be used as a potential luminescent material.
