Starting from the driving mechanism of glass bottle making machine,this paper studies the service life of harmonic reducer in bottle making machine on the basis of predecessors.The life of harmonic reducer has always been a concern,but there are still some shortcomings in the analysis and optimization theory of flexible wheel life due to the complex force state of flexspline.Firstly,the harmonic reducer is designed and checked according to the requirement of bottle-making machine.The stress state of flexspline is studied in simplified form,and the analytical formulas of contact stress of flexspline and dangerous point stress of flexspline root caused by gear tooth stiffness are deduced.After simplifying the harmonic reducer to some extent,the static and transient analysis of the flexspline is carried out.It is considered that the design of harmonic reducer is reasonable,and the simulation results are close to the analytical solution.The stress and deformation of flexspline are analyzed,and the stress distribution of flexspline in transient state is obtained.Then an analytical method for calculating fatigue life by finite element results is proposed.This method is different from the conventional method in obtaining stress spectrum and calculating life cycle.By using the linear fatigue cumulative damage theory and rainflow method,the circumferential normal stress spectrum of the maximum stress point of flexspline during one cycle of rotation of wave generator is analyzed.The stress spectrum of one cycle of rotation is obtained through the cycle of wave generator between the two teeth of flexspline.The amplitude probability-stress-life curve is used to calculate the life of flexspline,and finally the fatigue life of flexible wheels is obtained.Finally,some explorations are made to optimize the fatigue life of flexible wheels.A model and method for optimizing the parameters of flexspline aiming at minimizing the contact stress and bending stress of tooth roots are proposed.The advantages of the flexspline designed by this method in fatigue life are verified by finite element analysis.It has certain reference value for the design of the width of flexspline,the thickness of tooth walls and the length of cylinders in bottle-making machine.
