Straight alignment is widely used in road design for its convenience of measuring and designing.In practical use,it is also easy for drivers to steer on straight sections with a broad vision.But there are also some hidden dangers in straight alignment,especially in the long-straight alignment lies the most prominent problem.Due to the open and flat terrain,highway with long-straight sections is very common in desert steppe area.With small longitudinal gradient,monotonous landscape,dry climate,strong wind and much sand,driving fatigue is easier to occur on long-straight sections in desert steppe area.Moreover,some inadequate countermeasures on these sections make the security problem more serious.Therefore,it is particularly urgent to study the driving safety and countermeasures on the long-straight sections of highway in desert steppe area.Through the analysis of the driving safety factors,the main factors in the long-straight sections of highway in desert steppe area are the long-straight alignment and monotonous landscape.In this paper,the influence on driving safety is analyzed and countermeasures are put forward in view of these two factors.Combining the existing researches and the driving characteristics on long-straight sections of highway in desert steppe area,14 driving physiology indexes and 6 driving behavior indicators are initially selected.Then characteristic indices,affected by linear length(SHR and SV),are obtained by implementing the SVM-based feature selection method and difference tests.And indicators influenced by landscape??%,V and SV?are determined by the same way.Based on the accuracy of classifier in the selection process,the paper holds that the linear length has a more significant impact on the driving safety than landscape in the desert steppe area.Therefore,it focuses on the analysis of the characteristic indexes affected by linear length.The safety influence of the long-straight alignment in desert steppe area,the change rule of feature indices along the length of long-straight sections,and two critical linear lengths of highway in desert steppe area are obtained.At the same time,the characteristics indicators influenced by landscape are also analyzed,and the safety impact of desert steppe on long-straight highway is acquired.In accordance with the driver's gaze habits,the article proposes three countermeasures.Through the degree of accuracy reduction in classifier and the delay of the critical length,the effects of three countermeasures on the safety status are studied and compared.The conclusions in this paper provide theoretical basis and engineering practice reference for technology and management of highway in desert steppe area.
