With the improvement of people's requirements for surface quality,aluminum wheel polishing technology is developing continuously in China.As a green polishing technology,fork-shaft polishing technology has been applied in aluminum wheel polishing.During processing,abrasive particles are extruded and grinded on the surface of the wheel.The micro-defects on the original surface are removed by the plastic shearing force of the flowing particles to improve the roughness and glossiness of the surface.Due to the relative motion of the wheel and abrasive particles,the abrasive particles will inevitably adhere to the surface during the impact and self-grinding of the wheel.In order to improve the polishing efficiency of abrasive particles,it is necessary to clean abrasive particles regularly and restore abrasive particles with a certain degree of smoothness,so as to make the surface quality of wheel polishing qualified.Based on the polishing mechanism of fork-axle aluminum wheel,the reason why the polishing abrasive becomes blunt in the process of polishing is analyzed.The effects of the oscillating frequency,spraying temperature and the amount of cleaning agent on the abrasive smoothness are analyzed by experiments.The influence of degree,cleaning agent temperature and cleaning agent concentration on abrasive smoothness is analyzed.The law of the influence of key parameters on abrasive smoothness is obtained,and the optimal scheme is obtained.However,the oscillating type needs a large amount of water in the processing process,and the cleaning effect is limited;centrifugal cleaning abrasive quantity is small,and there is a high degree of self-grinding in the cleaning process,so the cleaning effect is not ideal.The immersion rotary cleaning equipment can overcome this disadvantage and has no obvious damage to the abrasive properties.It is an ideal way for abrasive particle cleaning.In this paper,an immersion rotary cleaning machine is developed.The influence of cylinder rotation speed,cleaning agent temperature and cleaning agent concentration on abrasive smoothness is studied.The surface roughness and glossiness of polishing are experimentally verified,and the influence law of key parameters is obtained.The results show that the best cleaning effect is obtained under the conditions of 40 r/min rotating speed,60? cleaning agent temperature and 1.0%cleaning agent concentration,which has a certain guiding significance for ensuring the quality and efficiency of aluminum wheel polishing.
