Phenolic resin?PF?and epoxy resin?EP?are the two most commonly used binders in resin-based friction materials,traditional phenolic?epoxy?resins exhibit low mechanical strength,Poor heat resistance and wear resistance,as well as other shortcomings when used as a binder for friction materials,it greatly affected the application of phenolie?epoxy?resin in the fileld of friction materials.In this thesis,the graphene oxide?GO?and zirconium oxide?ZrO2?nanoparticles were combined by electrostatic self-assembly and Schiff base reaction method to prepare two different multi-functional nanoscale fillers.Then the two kinds of hybrid particles have been used as fillers to modify phenolic resin and epoxy resin in order to improve its thermal,mechanical and tribological properties for preparing high performance of phenolic resin and epoxy resin composite materials,the contents of the paper are as follows:?1?In the paper,ZrO2@GO hybrid particles were synthesized by electrostatic self-assembly of ZrO2 nanoparticles and GO,and then used to reinforced phenolic resin and epoxy resin,respectively.The effects of hybrid particles on the mechanical properties,heat resistance and friction and wear properties of the composites were studied.The results show that the mechanical properties of phenolic resin and epoxy resin composites are best when the amount of ZrO2@GO hybrid particles is 0.1 wt%,and the heat resistance of the composites increases with the addition of hybrid particles.When the addition of hybrid particles is 0.2 wt%and 0.5 wt%,the friction coefficient of ZrO2@GO/PF and ZrO2@GO/EP composites is minimum.The wear rate of the composites decreases gradually with the increase of the amount of nano-filler.?2?ZrO2-g-rGO nanocomposites were composited with Schiff base by complexing ZrO2 nanoparticles with GO,the composite nano particles?ZrO2-g-rGO?,are used to enhance the modified phenolic resin and epoxy resin composite,respectively,the mechanical properties,heat resistant performance and friction and wear properties of phenolic resin and epoxy resin composites were studied.The results show that the mechanical properties of the composites are best when the content of ZrO2-g-rGO is 0.1 wt%,and that of ZrO2-g-rGO hybrids can significantly improve the heat resistance of phenolic resin composites.The ZrO2-g-rGO/PF composites have the lowest friction coefficient and wear rate when the content of ZrO2-g-rGO is 0.2 wt%.The friction coefficient of ZrO2-g-rGO/EP composites shows the minimum value when the addition amount of particles is 0.1 wt%,and the wear rate of composites decreases with the increase of the filler.This topic provides a theoretical basis and a scientific basis for the subsequent research on the modification of phenolic?epoxy?resin composites,which is of great significance to the research and development of widening the friction material field.
