C6 alcohol is one of the most important intermediates in the C6+C14 route which is used for synthesis of Vitamin A in Hoffmann-La Roche.Synthesis of C6 alcohol is valuable in the route.ISO-C6 alcohol is a precursor of C6 alcohol.At present,amination is the main method to synthesis ISO-C6 alcohol.This process requires not only cryogenic,but also higher energy consumption.In addition,the preparation process of acetylene lithium or acetylene calcium is very dangerous.It is very difficult to achieve high yield.The catalyst that is used in the conversion between C6 and ISO-C6 can't be recycled.Emissions of waste acid caused serious pollution to the environment.In order to solve above problems,the synthesis process of ISO-C6 alcohol has been investigated in this paper.The results showed that methyl chloride Grignard reagent can be used as raw material in the synthesis process of ISO-C6 alcohol.When the temperature was about 20oC30oC,the mole ratio of methyl chloride and magnesium powder was 1.11.2,the mole ratio of acetylene and magnesium powder was 1.31.5.Laboratory reaction yield is 5%greater than that of the method of amination.Enlarge the experiment in the factory the yield increased by 5%-6%.Energy saving effect is significant.Instead of inorganic acid,acidic ironic liquid catalyzes the conversion of ISO-C6 alcohol into C6 alcohol.We can realize the recycling.This method can not only reduce the emission of waste acid,but also reduce pollution to the environment.This method is suitable for industrialized production.
