As the fly-ash produced by the electric power plant caused a great harm to the environment and life recently.How to realize the“reusing of wastes”has become a big issue demanded by the new environmental protection system.The fly-ash contains rich aluminum and iron which can be used for material of flocculant in sewage produced by oil fields.Adopting the fly-ash as the material to making green and efficient flocculant used for purifying the sewage can not only make it possible to make waste profitable but also it has become a hot spot studied in the water quality purifying.Polyaluminium ferric chloride?PAFC?as an inorganic polymer under the highlights purifier has been used widely in the processing of water purifying.In this paper,the two steps were used to make high efficiency PAFC water purifying agent for the treatment of oil field sewage.The effects of reaction temperature,reaction time,the ration of liquid to solid,acid strength were investigated and obtained the optimal technological parameters were 50°C?4 h?3:1?20 mol/L,respectively.The effects of reaction time,temperature,basicity,and the dosage of calcium aluminate on PAF were also investigated.The optimal process conditions are:the synthesis temperature was 85°C,reaction time wass 3 h,the base was 60%,calcium aluminate concentration was 0.28 mg/L,aluminum iron was 40:1,respectively.The molecular structure of PAFC was characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy?FT-IR?and Nuclear magnetic resonance(Al27-NMR).PAFC was applied in the purification process,flocculation ability of home made PAFC is higher than that of commercially available PAC content;and after purification of suspended solids and oil in water are less than or equal to 30 mg/L,these indicators have reached environmental protection requirements that the industrial wastewater can discharge or recycling;and also identified the optimum dosage of flocculant is 1%.The pilot scale experiment was carried out on the preparation of PAFC,and on the basis of which the industrial production experiment was carried out.From the results of the field collection of products,industrial production of PAFC products reached the first-grade product.Detected from the results of purified waste water:the content of suspended solids after purification of water is less than 16 mg/L,the oil content of less than 5 mg/L and COD in the range of 45-55 mg,ammonia nitrogen content is between 2.0-4.0 mg/L.Finally,in order to realize the comprehensive utilization of fly-ash,acid soluble insoluble residue can be used as making hollow brick or silica raw material.
