Research On Costumes Of Yuan And Goryeo Dynasty And Their Interaction

In history,the communication between China and the Korean Peninsula was particularly special in the Yuan Dynasty and Goryeo.It was promoted by Goryeo prince's coming to the Yuan Dynasty as hostage,Yuan Dynasty princess' s marriage to the Goryeo royal court and the tribute women system and eunuch system under the tributary relationship,which also laid a political foundation for the interaction of the costumes between the two countries.And then,the open policy and attitude of cultural tolerance of Yuan Dynasty provided favorable conditions for costume communication between the two countries.Goryeo costumes inherited the old system of the former dynasty and were influenced by the costumes of the Yuan Dynasty at the same time.In particular,this kind of influence of Yuan Dynasty on Goryeo costumes was dual,which was directly related to the parallel costume system of Chinese traditional costumes and Mongolian traditional costumes in the Yuan Dynasty.Goryeo's attitude to the traditional Mongolian costumes of the Yuan Dynasty changed with time and their relationship.By analyzing the costume system of the Yuan Dynasty,the popular Goryeo costumes in the Yuan Dynasty,the change degree of Goryeo costumes to the Yuan Dynasty and the influence of costumes of Yuan Dynasty to the Korean Peninsula,this paper researches the formation causes and excavates its deep cultural meaning.Based on the study of the Yuan Dynasty costumes,Goryeo costumes,the political relationship between them and other factors,this paper analyzes the expression of the “Goryeo style” in the Yuan Dynasty court,and deeply studies the shape of the Goryeo-yang costume-short outer jacket by combing and analyzing its origin.This paper analyzes the influence degree and researches the cause of its interaction of costumes from the perspective of Yuan Dynasty to Goryeo and Goryeo toYuan Dynasty.In addition,it also illustrates the deep influence of costumes of Yuan Dynasty to Goryeo costumes with the remaining costumes of Korean Peninsula.As more and more fashion designers are focusing on excavating traditional costume elements at this moment,this paper mainly studies the interaction between costumes in Yuan Dynasty and Goryeo,aiming atcomprehensively understanding and grasping the essence of Yuan Dynasty costumes,excavating their cultural meaning.It uses the robe with braids on the waist in the Yuan Dynasty as a breakthrough point,applying it to modern costume design with modern artistic techniques to provide theoretical reference and design ideas for the combination of Chinese traditional costumes and modern costume design.
