dance garland elements in the animated film "forest" in the design as the basis,through the design study,targeted to garland dance performance characteristic has carried on the comprehensive analysis,draw the flowers dance in the animated short design the shape of the element such as "beautiful umbrella" props,through grafting,the characters of shape and performance carried on the thorough research,and the story in the animated film situation and role of performance,etc.,do the targeted action design and performance,and makes the characters and actions can fully demonstrate the characteristics of the Garland dance,so,This paper makes a comparative study on the performance skills,emotions and emotions of the Garland dance,which is implanted into the performance of the cartoon characters.In addition,the combination of folklore and adapted to the forest,the story of the situation and role of the performance to show the basic elements of flowers dance and dance skills,at the same time,according to the Garland dance elements and props,etc.,with its elements as reference,creative,made "the hills" props "phantom umbrella" highlights the basic characteristics of the Garland ancient folk love story of Jingxing in Hebei province,as well as the meaning of the dancing props to pray for the well-being of the mountains.Based on the main plot,the animated short film "a tale of the mountains" grasps the relationship between sound,dance performance and character dynamic design by using dance performance to narrate the action of the character and dramatic dance performance,showing the charm of three-dimensional character building.This paper innovation points: first,according to the traditional folk dance garland elements in the animated film "forest" in the design as the basis,in combination with the main props of the animation,developed a portable table and stool design for children,in the function of the product design,draw the flowers dancing props products,and each form can reflect its scientific and functional;Second,the form of the umbrella in children's portable table and stool products is applied to the props of the animated short film "the story of the mountain",endowing the fantasy function of "phantom umbrella" and adding the artistic charm of the short film;Third,reflected in the performance character animation in animation short
