The additional silicone rubber(ASR)has many advantages such as good biocompatibility and high gas permeability,so it has been widely studied and applied.Its performance can be influenced by its components,so it is necessary to study the effects of components,which can give a theoretical direction for preparing ASR.What's more,its surface energy is low,when it's used in medical devices will cause some side effects,such as protein adsorption and thrombus,so it needs hydrophilic modification.But,there is no functional group on the surface of ASR,and the hydrophilic monomers cannot be fixed on the surface unless using the Plasma or other method,which are difficult to achieve.While,this problem can be solved by designing the formula.In the paper,the effect of each component on its properties was studied,and a kind of ASR with good properties was prepared.Then the ASR with double bond was prepared,and the NVP was choosed as the hydrophilic agent,thus,the hydrophilic ASR can be obtained.The main contents are as follows:1.A series of ASR were prepared,and the effects of reaction condition,molecular weight of PVDMS,the ratio of Si-H to Si-Vi,and the reinforcing agent on the properties of the ASR were described systemically.The transmittance,mechanical properties,as well as gas permeability was tested,and a kind of ASR was prepared,whose transmittance is more than 95%,its elastic modulus and elongation at break was 10.47 MPa and 355% respectively,which could meet the demand of corneal contact lens,but its surface was hydrophobic.2.To improve the surface hydrophilicity of ASR,the ASR with double bond was prepared by the reaction of vinyl and PHDMS.Subsequently,it was immersed in the solution with initiator,crosslinking agent and NVP,the PVP will be grafted on the surface of ASR under UV irradiation.The results of FTIR,SEM and XPS verified that the PVP had been grafted on the surface of ASR.The contact angle was tested,which showed the modified ASR had better hydrophilic,its contact angle had decreased to 52° from 110°.Compared with unmodified ASR,the adsorption of BSA and LZM were 52% and 75% respectively,this demonstrated that the modified ASR showing good ability to resist protein adsorption.
