The Application Research Of Waterborne UV Primer On Shoes Making

Shoes making is an important part in national economy.As the development of society,there is increasing requirement for the waterborne adhesive in shoes making field.The UV primer for low polarity materials becomes a focused issue in shoes making field.When the traditional solvent UV primer is used,the solvent all volatilizes in the air and makes a lot of VOC when the primer is heated.That causes serious air pollution to the environment.At the same time,it also has a strong impact on the health of the workers in the shoes making factory.Waterborne UV low polarity primer has no pollution and is friendly to the environment because the dispersion medium is water.And it is safe for storing and transportation.According to the requirement for energy saving,emission reduction in shoes making and the development in adhesive industrial,reduce the harm to environment and human,make the real environment protection and sustainable development come true.In this paper,preparation and characterization of waterborne UV primers,the testing method and application formula are researched and analyzed,and also compare the waterborne primer with solvent UV primer on sales.The details of formula are as below: for modified polyolefin resin emulsion R1 which is made by solution method or acrylate monomer emulsion R2,the solid content is 10%.The ratio of defoamer is 0.05%.The ratio of wetter is 0.5%.The ratio of initiator is 0.5%.These two kinds of waterborne low polarity UV curing primers are used to compared with solvent UV primer on bonding,heat resistant,yellowing resistant and storing stability.At the same time,the application tests are conducted in shoes making factory.The conclusion is that the performance of the acrylate monomer emulsion primer and solvent UV primer is similar,but acrylate monomer emulsion primer needs to increase the storing stability.The performance of initial bonding for modified polyolefin resin emulsion primer is worse than others,but the yellowing resistant and storing stability are good.There is no monomer in modified polyolefin resin and few VOC.It is an important research direction in the future.
