At present,CO2 is considered to be the most greenhouse gas,and it is imperative to control and reduce it.Organic amine method of chemical absorption to remove CO2 from flue gas is one of the most effective way.Traditional organic amine absorbents, such as MEA,have many disadvantages such as low absorption capacity and strong corrosive properties, and have been gradually replaced by new type of high efficiency absorbent.AEEA is a potential new type of highly efficient absorbent, and in this paper, the kinetics of CO2absorption by AEEA solution and its composite solution is studied by experimental methodsA series of experiments were investigated to absorb CO2 with unloaded AEEA aqueous solution under atmospheric pressure over a range of temperature from 298.15K to 313.15K.The effect of reaction temperature,AEEA initial concentration and CO2 partial pressure on the absorption rate was studied. It was obtained that the rate of CO2 absorption in AEEA aqueous solution can be increased by appropriately increasing the reaction temperature, and the absorption rate reaches the maximum at the temperature of 313.15K under the experimental conditions;the absorption rate increases with the increase of CO2 partial pressure during absorption process.Based on the fast pseudo-first-order reaction model and the zwitterionic mechanism, the activation energy of the reaction between AEEA aqueous solution and CO2was obtained to be3.546?104 kJ/kmol;The reaction order which is bigger with the increasing temperature was found to be in the range of 1.371.47 with respect to concentrations under the experimental conditions, and the zwitterion formation rate constant for the CO2 reaction with AEEA was obtained.According to the three molecular reaction mechanism, the analytical equations of the third-order reaction rate constantskAEEAand kH2 Oare obtained. The mass transfer coefficient of the absorption reaction is solved under the experimental conditions.Under the same conditions, the experimental study on the absorption of CO2 by AEEA-PZ and AEEA-AEP aqueous solution was carried out.And a simplified kinetic equation is established. The reaction rate constants of CO2-AEEA-PZ-H2O system including k21,AEEAandk2,PZ,and CO2-AEEA-AEP-H2O system includingk22,AEEAandk2,AEPare solved.By Comparing the the kinetic datas of CO2-AEEA-PZ-H2O system and CO2-AEEA-AEP-H2O system, the results show that the addition of PZ and AEP can both promote the absorption of CO2 by AEEA aqueous solution, and the effect of PZ is weak while the effect of NEP is obvious. The results of this study can provide guidance for the screening of AEEA compound solution and its industrial application.
