High-speed cold roll-beating forming technology which has been widely used in the rack,gear,screw,screw thread processing with its low energy consumption,low cost,high efficiency,high quality.However,the multi-factor coupling forming process which have no mould constraint make the parts precision control become a difficult problem.In this paper the quality and work-piece forming profile is studied,which has important theoretical significance and engineering application value.Based on the bulk materials cold roll-beating principle,the direct rolling and reverse rolling are analyzed from the work-piece quality,working efficiency and the life of rolling wheel point of view.The materials constitutive relation is mainly analyzed based on the constitutive relation of metal material,the J-C,C-S constitutive model are conformed.The finite element analysis model of cold rolling forming process is established and the forming process is simulated by ABAQUS simulation software.The rolling force is anal.yzed under different process parameters using J-C constitutive model and C-S constitutive model,and the results are compared with the experiment results,then determined the J-C constitutive model is the more suitable constitutive model for cold roll-beating.Based on the J-C constitutive model,the cold roll-beating process is simulated,the forming profile cross section is successfully extracted,and compared with rolling wheel cross section,the forming profiles change with process parameters are get,and the bring back is briefly analyzed in the process of cold roll-beating.The cold roll-beating experiment is carried out on the experimental machine,the specimen is measured using three coordinate measuring instruments,it is proved that the simulated results is reliability.The metallographic is analyzed and hardness is measured of the specimen,so as to further prove the superiority of cold roll-beating process.
